This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which voluntary financial contributions made to the PatentReview project may be refunded.
PatentReview is an independent professional initiative funded through voluntary financial contributions intended to support the project's objectives.
2. Nature of Voluntary Contributions
Contributions made to PatentReview are voluntary financial donations provided without any expectation of consideration or commercial benefit.
By making a contribution, supporters do not acquire ownership, membership, voting rights or any other legal entitlement in relation to the project. Likewise, PatentReview does not undertake to deliver any specific outcome, result or service in return for a contribution.
3. Refunds
As a general rule, voluntary financial contributions are non-refundable once the transaction has been completed.
We therefore encourage all supporters to consider their contribution carefully before making a payment or bank transfer.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be granted, at our sole discretion, in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
accidental duplicate payments;
technical errors resulting in an incorrect amount being charged; or
verified payment processing errors caused by the payment service provider.
Each refund request is considered individually on its own merits.

Should the PatentReview project cease operating before achieving its stated objectives, we will publish a separate public statement explaining how any remaining funds will be used or, where appropriate, whether refunds can be considered, taking into account applicable law and the project's outstanding obligations.
